Privacy Policy

Ollo ("we," "our," or "us," operated by Hollin Labs) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what information Ollo collects, how it's used, who it's shared with, and the choices you have. We've tried to write this in plain language — if anything is unclear, email us at contact@olloapp.me.

1. What Data We Collect

Ollo collects the following information, all of which you provide directly through the app's onboarding and logging flows:

• Name — entered during onboarding
• Medication details — your GLP-1 medication name and dose, injection frequency, and delivery method
• Treatment timeline — your medication start date and current week number
• Goals and health concerns — selected during onboarding
• Activity level
• Goal weight — optional
• Weight logs — with timestamps
• Mood and energy logs — with timestamps
• Symptom logs — including severity and timestamps
• Dose logs — including injection site and timestamps
• Free-text notes — attached to any log entry
• Ask Ollo chat messages — and your conversation history with the AI companion
• RevenueCat anonymous app user ID — used to manage your subscription
• Subscription status and purchase history
• App interaction data — collected automatically via RevenueCat analytics
• Crash data — collected automatically via Apple's crash reporting tools

2. How Data Is Collected

Almost all data in Ollo is entered directly by you through the app's logging and onboarding screens — nothing is collected passively or without your direct input, with two exceptions: crash data (collected automatically if the app crashes, to help us fix bugs) and RevenueCat interaction events (collected automatically to manage your subscription).

3. AI Features and Third-Party Data Sharing

Who receives the data

When you send a message in Ask Ollo, the following information is transmitted to OpenAI via their API in order to generate a response:

• Your first name
• Your GLP-1 medication name and dose
• Your current week number on treatment
• Your stated health goals and concerns
• Your activity level
• Your goal weight, if set
• Your last 7 days of logged data (weight, mood, energy, symptoms, and doses)
• The content of your chat message

What it is used for

This data is sent solely to generate a personalized response within the Ask Ollo chat feature. It is not used for any other purpose, and is not combined with any advertising or analytics system.

OpenAI's data handling

Data sent to OpenAI through their API is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy and API data usage terms. When accessed via the API (as Ollo does), OpenAI does not use this data to train its models by default.

Your consent

Before any data is sent to OpenAI, you are shown an explicit consent screen describing what will be shared. You can withdraw your consent at any time by disabling the Ask Ollo feature in Settings — once disabled, no further data is sent to OpenAI.

4. RevenueCat and Subscription Data

Ollo Plus subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and subscription/purchase event data solely to verify and manage your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive any health data — no medication logs, symptoms, weight, mood, or chat content are ever shared with RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

5. How Data Is Stored

Your health data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, and synced across your own devices using Apple's CloudKit and your personal iCloud account. Ollo does not operate its own servers for data storage — we never hold a centralized copy of your health data. Your data never leaves your iCloud account, except when transmitted to OpenAI for Ask Ollo responses as described in Section 3.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete all of your data at any time using the Delete Account function in Settings. This permanently removes all SwiftData records and clears all app data from your device, and also deletes the corresponding data from your iCloud account.

7. Health Data Sensitivity

Ollo handles health and medical information, which we treat as sensitive data deserving heightened protection. This data is:

• Never sold to any third party
• Never used for advertising
• Never shared with any party other than OpenAI, and only for the specific purpose of generating Ask Ollo responses as described in Section 3

Ollo is not a HIPAA-covered entity and is not a medical device. We do not provide medical advice. Please do not use Ollo as a substitute for professional medical care.

8. Children's Privacy

Ollo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Ollo is rated 12+ on the App Store due to medical content references.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time, directly within the app via Settings. If you need assistance exercising any of these rights, contact us and we'll help directly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated via in-app notification.
